With many years of education and valuable experience under her belt, Dr. Amato has treated many conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain; sports related overuse injuries, head to toe. Aside from being a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Amato is a Diplomate in Sports Chiropractic through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Practitioners and is certified in Active Release Technique.
Dr. Amato has spent her whole life involved in various sports as an athlete and coach, mainly gymnastics, cheerleading, softball, and volleyball. This developed into a career working with athletes toward reaching their peak performance abilities. Aside from in office treatment, Dr. Amato works on athletes before and after tournaments and events on site. She has worked with athletes on site since 2009 on the AVP tour, helped at numerous Crossfit regionals, volunteer medical staff on the Dew Tour in Maryland and New York.
Dr. Amato's goal is to help others restore and uphold their wellness, and educate them on adopting a healthier well-being through regular spinal adjustments, various forms of soft tissue work, and exercise.
